Mogochinsky District

Mogochinsky District (Russian: Мого́чинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-one in Zabaykalsky Krai, Russia.

The area of the district is 25,500 square kilometers (9,800 sq mi).

[2] Its administrative center is the town of Mogocha.

[1][2] The northern part of the district is located in the Olyokma-Stanovik Highlands area.

The Amazar, one of the tributaries of the Amur, flows across it.
