The daughter of Ken and Lindsay Griggs, she has a brother Austin and a sister Laura.
She attended Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, graduating with a bachelor's in fine arts for acting.
