[1] Monaco made their first international team tournament debut at the 2024 Small States of Europe Badminton Championships.

The national team was formed in 2010 after the establishment of Federation Monegasque de Badminton (FMBAD).

In 2018, the Monegasque team was scheduled to compete in the inaugural edition of the European Small States Badminton Games in 2020.

The team was eliminated in the group stages and finished in ninth place on the overall rankings.
