Monique Dorsainvil (born 1987) was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs.
[3] Shortly after her 2009 graduation, Dorsainvil began working as an intern at the White House in the office of First Lady Michelle Obama.
[6] Dorsainvil, who is openly gay,[5] stepped into the position of White House's LGBT liaison in 2014, when Gautam Raghavan resigned the post.
She had previously served on the White House Council on Women and Girls and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Outreach.
[7] In November 2014, Dorsainvil was replaced when the White House hired Aditi Hardikar as the permanent LGBT Liaison.
