The Middle Congo worm lizard (Monopeltis schoutedeni) is a species of amphisbaenian in the family Amphisbaenidae.
The species is indigenous to Central Africa.
The specific name, schoutedeni, is in honor of Belgian zoologist Henri Eugene Alphonse Hubert Schouteden.
