Montemor-o-Novo (Portuguese pronunciation: [mõtɨˈmɔɾ u ˈnovu] ⓘ) is a municipality in the District of Évora in Portugal.

The municipal holiday is March 8, after Saint John of God,[4] a 16th-century saint, who was born in Montemor-o-Novo.
