Moody Nolan, founded in Columbus, Ohio, in 1983, is the largest African-American-owned and operated architecture firm in the United States, with 12 offices nationwide.
In 2021, it was the recipient of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Architecture Firm Award.

[2] Moody Nolan was founded by architect Curt Moody and engineer Howard E. Nolan in 1983 with the goal of developing a portfolio of private-sector projects, unlike other minority firms.
