Moorefield is a town in Independence County, Arkansas, United States.

It was named after Jesse A. Moore who owned most of the land in the area of the town at that time.

[3] Moorefield is located approximately 4 miles (6 km) east of Batesville at the intersection of Arkansas highways 233 and 69.

Moorefield Creek flows past the north side of the town.
