Morkinsky District (Russian: Морки́нский райо́н; Meadow Mari: Морко кундем, Morko kundem) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the fourteen in the Mari El Republic, Russia.

The area of the district is 2,272 square kilometers (877 sq mi).
