Morundah /məˈrʌndə/ is a small town in the Murray region of New South Wales, Australia.
The town is located on the Newell Highway and in the Federation Council local government area.
[1] Colombo Creek Post Office opened on 1 May 1877, was renamed Murundah in 1889 and Morundah in 1895.
Morundah railway station opened on 16 September 1884 and closed on 17 November 1975.
In 2016, the old "opera house"—which was basically a prefabricated pig shed—was demolished and replaced by a larger permanent structure, designed to cater for not only opera, but a range of other types of events.
