Cordulephya montana is a species of dragonfly in the superfamily Libelluloidea,[3][4] commonly known as the mountain shutwing.
[5] It inhabits streams in eastern New South Wales, Australia.
[6][7] Cordulephya montana is a small to tiny, black or purplish-black dragonfly with yellowish markings.
It rests with its wings folded above its body in a similar manner to a damselfly.
