Mulugeta Wami (born 17 July 1982) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specialises in the marathon.
Born in Addis Ababa,[1] he is the brother of Gete Wami, the 1999 world champion and 2000 Olympic runner-up in the 10,000 metres.
[5] He returned to defend his Egmond Half title, but only managed a fifth-place finish.
[6] Two more bests came at the start of 2008 as he timed 59:55 minutes for fifth at the 20 van Alphen road race and 2:08:32 at the Paris Marathon, finishing sixth overall.
[7] He also failed to retain his title in Chuncheon, managing a lacklustre 2:13:07 hours.
