Munford is a town in Talladega County, Alabama, United States.

One of the last Confederate casualties of the war occurred here, with the death of Andrew Jackson Buttram.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all land.

[6] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,351 people, 562 households, and 405 families residing in the town.

24.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% were someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
