Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani

Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani (Urdu: مشتاق احمد غنی; born 30 October 1956) is a Pakistani politician who served as Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2018 till 2024.

He contested the 1997 North-West Frontier Province provincial election as a candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from PF-34 Abbottabad-I, but was unsuccessful.

He received 4,224 votes and lost to Ali Afzal Khan Jadoon, a candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML(N)).

[3] He contested the 2008 North-West Frontier Province provincial election as a candidate of the PML(Q) from PF-44 Abbottabad-I, but was unsuccessful.

[7] On 23 July 2014, he was given the additional ministerial portfolio of Information and Public Relations[8] where he continued to serve until October 2017.
