Mustafizur Rahaman Chowdhury (Bengali: মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান চৌধুরী) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and former Member of Parliament from Chittagong-16.
[1] Chowdhury was elected to parliament in 2014 from Chittagong-16 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.
[1] On 1 June 2016, he was accused of assaulting Zahidul Islam, an upazila election officer, during the Union Parishad polls.
[2] Zahidul Islam filed a case with the Banshkhali Police Station against Chowdhury and two of his associates.
He secured bail from Judicial Magistrate Md Sajjad Hossain of local court on 16 June.
