Mutrux is a municipality in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
[3] Mutrux has an area, as of 2009[update], of 3.21 square kilometers (1.24 sq mi).
[5] The municipality is located in the north-east of the district at the foot of Mont Aubert.
[6] The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Vert, a Chapel Argent roofed Gules and topped with a Cross Or.
[9] The age distribution, as of 2009[update], in Mutrux is; 16 children or 11.9% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 21 teenagers or 15.6% are between 10 and 19.
The greatest number of multi-family homes (2) were built before 1919 and again between 1946 and 1960[13] In 2000[update] there were 59 apartments in the municipality.

In the federal election, a total of 37 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 37.8%.
[10] There were 54 residents of the municipality who were employed in some capacity, of which females made up 40.7% of the workforce.
The number of jobs in the tertiary sector was 4, of which 3 were in wholesale or retail sales or the repair of motor vehicles and 1 was in a hotel or restaurant.
[10] From the 2000 census[update], 9 or 8.0% were Roman Catholic, while 90 or 79.6% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
In the Vaud cantonal school system, two years of non-obligatory pre-school are provided by the political districts.
The canton's primary school program requires students to attend for four years.
