NWT Spruce Coupe

When it was available the aircraft was supplied as a kit and also in the form of plans for amateur construction.

[1] The Spruce Coupe features a strut-braced low-wing, a single-seat enclosed cockpit, fixed conventional landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration.

The acceptable power range is 40 to 50 hp (30 to 37 kW) and the standard engine used is the 45 hp (34 kW) Zenoah G-50 twin-cylinder, horizontally opposed, two stroke, carburetted aircraft engine.

With full fuel of 6 U.S. gallons (23 L; 5.0 imp gal) the payload for the pilot, passengers and baggage is 270 lb (120 kg).

[1] The manufacturer estimates the construction time from the supplied kit as 500 hours.
