Nadaun is a historical town and a nagar panchayat in the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The temperature in summers rarely exceeds 40 degrees Celsius due to its proximity with the Himalayas and Beas river.
As of 2011[update] India census,[4] Aurangzeb's expeditions in Deccan in the 1690s had put considerable strain on the Mughal exchequer.
