Nadia Zakamska is a Russian-American astronomer who is a professor at Johns Hopkins University.
[1][2] Zakamska's research involves multi-wavelength work on Type II quasars.
[3] She also studies supermassive black holes and their role in galaxy formation.
[1] In 2014, she received the American Astronomical Society's Newton Lacy Pierce Prize, which is awarded to recognize at least five years of outstanding achievement in observational astronomical research.
