Nan County, or Nanxian (simplified Chinese: 南县; traditional Chinese: 南縣; pinyin: Nán Xiàn; lit.
'south county') is a county in the Province of Hunan, China, it is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Yiyang.
Nan County covers 1,346.62 km2 (519.93 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 683,500 and a permanent resident population of 632,800.
