Nariman Dzhelyal

Nariman Dzhelyal Enverovych (born 27 April 1980) is the first deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, journalist and activist.

On 21 September 2022 the Russian-controlled "Supreme Court of Crimea" sentenced him to 17 years in prison with a fine of 700 thousand rubles.

[1] In November 2013, Dzhelal became a deputy of Refat Chubarov, chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.

Later, FSB published a statement that Dzhelyal is suspected of being involved in the gas pipeline explosion on 23 August 2021, near Simferopol.
