Narsinhrao Divatia (1859–1937) was a poet, linguist and critic of Gujarati literature.
He completed Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit from Elphinstone College in 1880 and stood first in University for which he was awarded Bhau Dajee Prize.
He passed Indian Statutory Civil Service examination and was appointed Assistant Collector of Kera district in 1884.
Smaran-Sanhita is an elegy written following death of his son Nalinkant which follows the style of British poet Tennyson's In Memoriam A.H.H..
