National Engineering College (NEC)[1] is an educational institution in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu.

It is an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and was established in 1984 by Kalvithanthai Thiru.

The college is located in the municipality of Kovilpatti, an industrial city in the Thoothukudi District, of Tamil Nadu.
