[9] At the 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship, Nepal reached the semifinals before being eliminated, losing to the UAE not on the field, but rather on a lower net-run-rate than the latter, due to a rain-out.

In late May to early June 2023, the Nepal women returned to action for the first time since 2022, with a 5-match T20 series against Malaysia, winning 3-2.
