[2] Since the start of 2017, Nestlé and Coca-Cola have agreed to end the iced tea Nestea joint venture after 16 years of collaboration.
Nestlé will handle the distribution of Nestea in most countries except in Andorra, Bulgaria, Canada, Portugal, Romania Serbia and Spain, where Coca-Cola Company will retain a license.
[5] The new recipe, launched by Nestlé after the end of the joint venture, no longer contains artificial colors and flavors, corn syrup or GMO ingredients.
[5] In addition, Nestea ready-to-drink iced tea is made with stevia extract and can be found in different flavors, such as lemon, raspberry and peach.
[7] In 2024, production of Nestea in Canada was transferred to Keurig Dr. Pepper, with Coca-Cola Company beginning to sell Fuze iced tea instead.
