The Netherlands competed at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona, Spain between 19 July and 4 August 2013.
Netherlands qualified four quota places for the following diving events.
[1] Netherlands qualified a single quota in open water swimming.
[2] Dutch swimmers achieved qualifying standards in the following events (up to a maximum of 2 swimmers in each event at the A-standard entry time, and 1 at the B-standard):[3][4] Verschuren tied for the eighth and final spot in the final with Cameron McEvoy from Australia but withdrew from the swimoff to focus on the 100 m freestyle event.
[5] Netherlands has qualified twelve synchronized swimmers.
