Neville Morley

Neville Morley (born 12 March 1969) is a British ancient historian and professor at the University of Exeter.

Morley studied history and classics at Emmanuel College of the University of Cambridge.

He received a doctorate from Cambridge in 1994 for a dissertation entitled "Metropolis and hinterland: the city of Rome and the Italian economy 200 B.C.

In 2016, he transferred to the University of Exeter as Professor of Classics and Ancient History.

From 2016 to 2018, Morley was an Einstein visiting fellow at the Free University of Berlin.
