New Glarus is a town in Green County, Wisconsin, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.7 square miles (89.9 km2), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 943 people, 329 households, and 273 families residing in the town.

There were 337 housing units at an average density of 9.7 per square mile (3.7/km2).

12.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
