Sylvester is a town in Green County, Wisconsin, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.9 square miles (93.0 km2), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 809 people, 289 households, and 243 families residing in the town.

There were 309 housing units at an average density of 8.6 per square mile (3.3/km2).

13.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
