Nicanor Bartolome

Nicanor A. Bartolome (born March 16, 1957) is a Filipino retired police officer who served as the chief of the Philippine National Police.

[1] A Tarlaqueño, Bartolome is a member of Philippine Military Academy in 1981.

[5] He also served as regional director of CALABARZON police (PRO 4-A).

[8][3] On September 9, 2011, Bartolome was appointed as PNP Chief replacing General Raul Bacalzo.

He was intendent to retire in 2013 but his term cut short[9] and turn into floating status,[10] in order to promote and appoint General Alan Purisima as the chief.
