Oscar C. Calderon (born October 1, 1951) is a Filipino retired police officer who served as the chief of the Philippine National Police.
[1][2] Calderon was a member of the PMA class of 1973.
[3] He served as President of Police Anti-Crime Emergency Response in Senior Officers Promotion Board.
[4] Calderon was appointed over contenders such as: Deputy Director General Servando Hizon, PNP comptroller, and Deputy Director General Avelino Razon, PNP deputy chief for operations (his future successor).
