Nicholas Niciphor (b 1946) is an American screenwriter and film director.
[2] Niciphor was born in New York, to a Norwegian woman who gave him up for adoption.
Niciphor studied filmmaking at USC and made several short films.
He wrote Our Winning Season for Joe Roth at AIP and Roth recommended Niciphor to Roger Corman.
This ended his directing career although Niciphor continued to work as a writer.
