Nicola Santoni

Nicola Santoni (born 18 January 1979) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.

Santoni started his professional career at native club Cesena of Emilia-Romagna region.

In January 2006, he was involved in David Di Michele transfer, which seen Santoni, Simone Pepe and Salvatore Masiello went to Udinese Calcio in co-ownership deal.

[3] In summer 2006, Brescia bought the rights from Udine, but he was loaned to newly promoted Serie B team Spezia.

After his retirement, Santoni was appointed to a non-playing role as coordinator of the youth goalkeeping coaches at Ravenna.
