Niederdorla

Niederdorla is a village and a former municipality in the Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis district of Thuringia, Germany.

Niederdorla claims to be the most central municipality in Germany.

A plaque was erected and a lime tree planted at 51°9′48.15″N 10°26′51.66″E / 51.1633750°N 10.4476833°E / 51.1633750; 10.4476833 after the 1990 German reunification.

Niederdorla also comprises the centre of gravity (equilibrium point) about 4.5 km (2.8 mi) to the southwest.
