Niko Aleks Peleshi (born 11 November 1970) is an Albanian politician who is serving as the Minister of Defence since 31 December 2020.

He previously has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania in September 2013.

In 1989 he completed secondary education with honors in Korçë, at Raqi Qirinxhi High School.

His political career started in October 2004 when he was appointed Prefect of Korça Region.

In 2013 he became a full of the Monitoring Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
