Nilofar Sakhi (Persian: نيلوفر سخی) is an author and a policy analyst with expertise in traditional and non-traditional security, geopolitics & peace.
Nilofar Sakhi is a professorial lecturer of International Affairs at George Washington University and the president of Andiana Foundation.
A former visiting fellow at National Endowment for Democracy and Columbia University, and a fellow at Asia Society and International Center for Tolerance Education, Nilofar has researched a wide range of research projects pertaining to politics of peace, security, negotiations and mediation in peacemaking processes.
She is also on the International Steering Committee at Afghanistan: Pathways to Peace[2][3] The institute also houses the Laura Bush Library and Resource Center and was funded by a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Task Force for Business and Stability Operations.
