Norman MacLeod "Nim" Hall (2 August 1925 – 25 June 1972) was a rugby union international who represented England from 1947 to 1955.
[1] Nim Hall was born on 2 August 1925 in Huddersfield[1] and attended Worksop College a public school in North Nottinghamshire where he first started playing rugby at the age of 11.
Whilst at Worksop, Hall represented North of Thames Public Schools and was widely regarded as one of the finest schoolboy rugby players of the early 1940s.
[2] After leaving Worksop College in 1943 Hall enlisted with the Royal Signals[3] and played rugby for St Mary's Hospital Medical School, Paddington[4] and the Army representative team.
