Ranganna allocates Narayana a rickshaw who aims to have his own, for which he strives hard and saves the amount at his malice owner, Dharmayya.

After reaching the target, Dharmayya swindles him when other rickshaw pullers protest, but it fails without evidence.

Infuriated, Narayana wants to retrieve his money, so he attempts to force Dharmaiah but is caught and jailed.

Besides, Ranganna is ailing when his son Ramu takes up responsibility for boot polishing, but on the double, he also meets with an accident and loses one limb.
