Nishi-Urakami Station

[4] The station consists of a side platform serving a single track at grade.

A small shed on the platform houses a ticket window which is, however, now unstaffed.

An automatic ticket vending machine and a weather shelter are provided.

[3][2] Japanese National Railways (JNR) opened the station as a temporary stop on 9 March 1987.

With the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987, JR Kyushu took over control of the facility and upgraded it to a full passenger station.
