Nongpoh (Khasi: [nɒŋˈpɒ(ə)]) is the administrative centre of Ri-Bhoi district in the Indian state of Meghalaya.
Fruits such as pineapples, bananas, papayas and litchi are cultivated extensively throughout the Ri-Bhoi district.
Betel leaf and nut trees are visible while traveling the roads that connect Nongpoh with Guwahati.
As of 2011 Indian Census, Nongpoh had a total population of 17,055, of which 8,536 were males and 8,519 were females.
