Nora Lafi is a French historian of Algerian origin, born in 1965 in Istres, near Marseilles.
She chairs, with Ulrike Freitag, the research field "Cities compared: cosmopolitanism in the Mediterranean and beyond", part of the EUME programme at Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin.
