Norman Graham Thwaites CBE MVO MC (1872–1956) was a British soldier, intelligence officer, foreign correspondent, editor, and diplomat.
Henry Graham Thwaites, a Church of England clergyman, and Clara Jane Hepworth, who had married in 1869.
[3] He worked in intelligence in New York City and recruited the spy Sidney Reilly.
[5] He saw active service during the war, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and receiving the Military Cross.
