The township contains these five cemeteries: Gilgal, Jacksonville, Macedonia, Middle Fork, Smith and Walnut Grove.

As of the 2020 census[1] there were 456 people, 210 households, and 129 families residing in the township.

37.60% of all households were made up of individuals, and 24.30% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
