Northmoor, Missouri

A post office called Northmoor was established in 1927, and remained in operation until 1947.

[6] On May 4, 2003 an F4 tornado ripped through the town, destroying several homes and causing extensive damage to the police station and to City Hall.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.24 square miles (0.62 km2), all land.

27.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

The census[4] of 2000 recorded 399 people, 171 households, and 108 families living in the city.
