The population density was 1.2 inhabitants per square mile (0.46/km2).

There were 289 housing units at an average density of 1.0 per square mile (0.39/km2).

The racial makeup of the unorganized territory was 97.31% White, 0.90% Native American, and 1.79% from two or more races.
