Norway at the Paralympics

It was one of the seventeen countries to take part in the inaugural Paralympic Games in 1960 in Rome, where it sent a delegation of eleven athletes.

[1] Norwegian athletes have won a total of 584 Paralympic medals, of which 234 were gold, 194 silver and 156 bronze.

As of 2010, Norway is the most successful country of all time at the Winter Paralympics, and ranks twelfth on the all-time Paralympic Games medal table (for Summer and Winter Games combined).

It finished in the top ten in every edition of the Winter Games until 2002, included, then dropped to 12th in 2006 and 2010.
