Scioto madtom

The Scioto madtom (Noturus trautmani) was a species of fish in the family Ictaluridae.

[1] This fish was endemic to Ohio in the United States.

Only one population was ever known; it was located in Big Darby Creek, a tributary of the Scioto River.

[3] It was proposed for removal from the list of endangered species by the U.S.

[4][5] It was removed on October 16, 2023, in accordance with the Endangered Species Act due to it being declared extinct.
