Nora Woodson Ulreich (1899 – October 26, 1950),[1][2] known professionally as Nura,[3][4][5] was an American artist, muralist, children's book author and illustrator.
Her father was a Confederate veteran who had settled in Kansas City.
[7] She grew up there, ultimately attending the Kansas City Art Institute.
She collaborated frequently with her husband Edward Buk Ulreich.
[9] Ulreich's work is included in the permanent collections of the San Diego Museum of Art,[11] the Smithsonian American Art Museum,[12] the Walker Art Center and[13] the David Winton Bell Gallery at Brown University.
