Nurit Koren

Nurit Koren (Hebrew: נורית קורן; born 24 February 1960) is an Israeli lawyer and politician.

Koren was born in Jerusalem to Yemenite Jewish immigrants, and has four brothers.

In 1971 her family moved to Kiryat Arba and she later studied at the Givat Washington religious youth village.

Aged 17 she married Eli Koren and relocated with him to Herzliya, where she studied at the Rishonim High School until she became pregnant.

Koren worked as the office manager for Gilad Erdan while he was Minister of Environmental Protection from 2010 to 2012.
