Nygmet Nurmakov

Nygmet Nurmakov (Kazakh: Nyğmet Nūrmaqūly Nūrmaqov, Нығмет Нұрмақұлы Нұрмақов; 25 April 1895 – 27 September 1937) was a Soviet politician who served as the Chair of the Council of People's Commissars[1] of the Kazakh ASSR (parallel to the current position of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan) from October 1924 to February 1925.

In 1926, Nurmakov was accused of supporting ethnic nationalism and exiled from Kazakhstan.
